a positive post about work

I know! Weird, right? Usually my posts that deal with work issues are not the most positive, while I like my job, it is the source of a huge amount of stress in my life. I am so blessed to have this job though and it brings great stability to our lives. Last semester was rough and I was ready for it to end b/c each semester, I get a new set of kids. This set of kids, so far, is really great! I have one honors class this spring and my academic kids are just as impressive. Granted, we are only 5 days in but if I can establish a good relationship with them now, I think it will stick. Also, this Friday I am helping to facilitate a session for our professional staff-development meeting because I have been experimenting with some of the new teach strategies we will be discussing. So anyway, some pretty cool things are going on so far and I feel like I'm getting more comfortable and it is nice be able to get more involved with the people I work with.
