pictures as promised

Mike and I left Thursday evening with Drew almost asleep in the back seat, on our way to Dallas. We got lucky and were given tickets to the Cotton Bowl...LSU vs. Texas A&M. We stayed with Aunt Sue and Uncle Robert, who kept Drew (with the help of Aunt Billye and Uncle Steve, of course!) while Mike and I headed to the new Cowboy's stadium. It was a really fun date! The arena was AMAZING and the outcome was AWESOME of course! Geaux Tigers! We had a parking pass, which meant we didn't have to arrive obnoxiously early and it only took us about 30 minutes to get home! We spent Saturday with Mike's family and headed home at 11:00pm to beat out the wintery weather coming in. We got to Central at 5:30am, slept for 5 hours, went to see Kevin, Alissa and Avery, Jenn, Markus & Trevor and then came home. It was a busy but really great weekend! Here are the pictures from our camera which ran out of batteries within 20 minutes. The rest are on Mike's iPhone so those will have to get posted later!
the pictures of this stadium do not do it justice AT ALL. When you first walk in, this is what you see...it is the 2nd floor and their are concession stands, restaurants, gift shops and if you look straight ahead, you can look down at the field. Our seats were right in A&M's end-zone, if you were to walk straight in this picture, our seats were down the steps. We had an awesome view of the field since we were toward the lower part of the second level right in between the goal posts. It was fabulous!
