It has been HOOOOOOT in south Louisiana lately...hot and humid where wind feels like an oven blast and there is not much relief in the shade. But we've been having a fun, busy time...here are a few little things we've been up to!
Lots of swimming (& drink breaks)...working on those summer goals!
This is Susanna's new floatie and it works so well! Plus, she picked it out and loves it! She feels like she is swimming and is encouraged to use her arms and kick her legs...it is so much better then just those arm floats...I can't believe I waited so long to get one like this.
Drew has gotten much more brave in the water! No floaties of any kind for this kid!
We've gone to the library almost every week for preschool story time and have been reading lots of books together!I got to celebrate this sweet friend of mine's birthday...she is a one-of-a-kind lady and I am so thankful for her...you know those people who are just inherently kind? That's Hayley! It was a fun girls night! I didn't leave her house until 1:00 am and then I listened to the whole Taylor Swift 1989 album on the way home!
Susanna and Paw Paw fixed our wobbly table. He has done so much around the house since they've been here...Mike and I are so thankful for that!
Lots of popsicle sharing with Jillian...
Even more baking...
And this sweet thang has been running the show now that she is practically running all over the place and into everything (especially the toilets)!

How adorable are your children?! We took our son, Caleb swimming today for his birthday, he was terrified at first but then loved it, kicking his legs in the water!
