start of summer!

Summer is in full force here in Louisiana!  While the kids have been finished with preschool for about a month now, we are just starting to get into a summer routine, since the end of May is so crazy with Mother's Day, birthdays in the family, and our little vacation.  We are looking forward to weeks of water-sliding, splash parks, library story time, crafts, friends, family, reading, painting, and movies!  I think it is going to be one for the books...at least, I'm going to try like crazy to make it so.

So far, June has proven to be pretty fun!  And we have cousins in town which tends to make even the  normal things way better!  Before they got here though, we've been to the $2 movie (Rio) with some friends...

 we've played some serious dress-up...

 ...had our yard redone (prepping to sell our house!)...

...and taken some much needed naps ;)

Now that they are here, we've played on the waterslide...

 ...ridden the carousel at the mall...

 ...and played in the play-place...

 ...visited alligators at Cajun Villiage...

 ...taken lots of pictures...

 ...and splashed in the tub...

 ...crawled & cruised all over the house...

 ...and had a really fun time!

 Jilly is on the move these days and we are loving it!

We still have a week with family in town and are excited about the weekend with them!  It is going to be a good one...summer, we pretty much love you already!!
