We are loving this fall weather.   This week has been pretty eventful and the next will be even more so but I think we are doing a pretty good job of soaking it in and enjoying our time.  Mike took Thursday off and came with us on the kids' field trip to the pumpkin patch.  I wasn't sure I was brave enough to tackle that will all three.  There is a lot to do and I would not have been able to keep up with the bigger kids and keep an eye on Jillian all by myself!  The day was absolutely gorgeous, our weather has been really awesome this fall.

Susanna could have been pushed on the swing all day...she loves to swing!
 This face!
 Cute little scarecrows!

We saw a Minion, Micky and Minnie and Olaf (but just as we were leaving)!

This was Drew's first real face-painting.  In years past, he has never been interested but I think he thought Susanna's was cool :)  It was a great day to spend time as a family and I love meeting their friends and getting to know their teachers and other parents more.  Jillian was, once again, right along for the ride and had fun too!

Friday was a normal day, Mike worked, the kids and I played and cleaned to house.  We made kabobs and sweet potato fries and grilled dinner outside in the loveliness.  Susanna said to me, "thank you mom! for the yummy supper!" She's pretty sweet ;)

Saturday we had our primary program practice at church and then Mike, Jillian and I  met my parents at the LSU v. Ole Miss game.  Since she only nurses and will not take a bottle for anything, and because the weather was so nice, we decided to bring her.  On a side note...if you want to bring your baby to an LSU game, know this.  You will need a ticket for them.  I didn't even think that would be an issue since she doesn't take up a seat and can't really enjoy it but we almost didn't get in.  Thankfully, one of the ladies working the gate let us through but yeah, it was a close call!  She did great and when the fans got too loud, we took her down by the concessions to get away from it.  Other than that, she was awesome!  It was a great game and it was really cool to sit by my mom and dad!

I love these people right here!

Jillian slept through the entire 2nd quarter so here we are down by the concession stand and out of the noise talking to Aunt Jess!  She and Billy were there too, with her mom and dad!

Today was our primary program.  It was absolutely beautiful and the kids did a great job reading their parts and singing their songs.  My mom and dad came since Drew was in it and they were a huge help, as always!  It was a busy day and I am glad (and shocked) that this weekend has come (and gone).  I feel like it has been on the calendar FOREVER and really cannot believe this week means Halloween!  Looking into the next 2 months overwhelms me but it is also fun and exciting.  I love the holidays and I love them even more with our children.  There are many "firsts" for Jillian and I just love the anticipation!  I'll try to keep living in the moment though, this week was a nice reminder that that is what is most important!
