school pictures and funny kids

Today we got the kids' school pictures in and they are pretty precious.  Although I don't think they quite capture each perfectly, I still like them and they are memories we will have forever!  And I'm not sure what is going on but today, these two have been saying the funniest things which I must record before I forget!

Today we were talking while Susanna was napping.  Jillian was playing on the floor in the living room and Drew was loving on her.  It went something like this...

D- "Mom, I love Jillian more than dad"

Me- "Aww buddy, really?  We should love each other all the same.  I love you and Susanna and Jillian all the same"

D- "You love us all 100?"

Me- "yep!"

D-  "I love Jillian 13, Susanna 1, Dad 100 and you 1000".

Me- secretly super happy that I'm first but not wanting him to have favorites..."Well bud, I'm so glad you love us all but I really wish you would love us all the same."  

D- "I do, I just love you and Jilly 100, y'all are on a team, and Dad and Susanna 13, they are on a team"

I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff.  He is obsessed with Mike and plays with Susanna all day long.  Crazy boy!

Susanna is killing me these days.  Today when I picked them up from school, her teacher came up to me and said that they were getting ready for story time and one of the boys in the class wouldn't sit on his mat.  The teacher told him over and over to please sit but he was in lala-land.  She said that Susanna stood up and said "Conner!  Sit down on your bottom right now!" and he said "ugh...ok fine!" and sat down!  She and the other teacher just laughed and laughed!

Then after her nap she wanted to watch The Little Mermaid.  She said "mom, PawPaw (Mike's dad) is Prince Eric".  I said "well who is Champ (my dad)?" and she said "uhhh...Scuttle!"  

They keep me on my toes but I am so thankful for these cuties of mine.  How boring would my days and conversations be without them?!  I never want to know!
