Daigle Family Pile-Inn 2014

For the 3rd year in a row, we have attended the Daigle Family Pile-Inn (my mom's side of the family)...its a family reunion, pretty much, we just have clever names for all of our get-togethers ;) (a big pile of Daigles/ we pile in together...hence the name...get it?)  It all started with these folks...my mom and her 8 siblings, 7 of which are still living.  They are a pretty remarkable bunch, if you ask me!
On the first day, when everyone is arriving at their respective cabins, the ones who have already arrived, come parading by to say hey!
I am the youngest girl of about 20-something cousins so there are LOTS of little kids now, great-grands, and it is so fun to see them interact.  We had a craft night at my parents' cabin to make flags for our great-grandchildren parade on Sunday.

Jillian got a ton of attention.  This is she and Uncle Billy's favorite thing to do when they are together!
On Saturday, we all meet at the pavilion and playground for a pot-luck lunch and games.

Susanna and Blythe became buddies this year, it was pretty sweet to watch!

Jill got lots of love from Uncle Everett!

My cousin Ryan and his son Carter...Carter was tired and it was a pretty warm day so he crashed ;) adorable!
 Cuddles with Aunt Jess
 and Blythe...pretty girls
Susanna thought this was awesome!  And so far, she hasn't tried to attempt this on her own so I think we're good.

 My brothers and I
Trey humored these four with horsey rides and I'm pretty sure a few more joined in.

We had a lot of fun with these fabulous people.  I have a great family, on all sides, and I am so so so so blessed by them!  Drew is starting to understand what "sides of the family" means...he is starting to pick up on because he recognizes that some cousins are together for certain activities and some aren't and the other day he told me that Mike and I are both on his side of the family!  Smart boy!  We love our Daigle cousins and can't wait til the next time we see them all!
