Is it horrible that my kids really only eat peanut butter and jelly/honey for lunch?   Drew only wants jelly and Susanna only wants honey with their peanut butter.  I've tried to branch out but the only other successful choice has been chicken nuggets (the real all-white-meat chicken kind...chicken nuggets otherwise gross me out).  If we have left-overs from the night before, Drew asks why we are having dinner food for lunch.  They eat fruit, veggies and yogurt as well but I feel like there has to be SOMETHING else I could try.  All efforts have failed, as they usually just ask for a sandwich.  I get the $10 3 lb jar of Jiff peanut butter and cannot tell you how quickly that and a loaf of bread goes at our house!  It has been a while since I have made them ham and cheese, they'll eat that grilled, maybe I should put that on my grocery list.  I have been trying to not to stress about it since at dinner they will try many different foods which allows me to change it up a lot.  But I can't help but wonder...is this normal?

Susanna has been asking to help me in the kitchen lately.  She's helped "make" biscuits this passed week.  She and Drew both like to help me make pancakes, especially on the occasions where we add coloring to make them all pretty.  Her newest request has been to put the honey on her sandwich.  Isn't she the cutest?  Check out that tongue...did you know it actually helps you squeeze the bottle easier?  Sweet thing...oh, I love her!

(FYI..that orange Fanta in the background was brought to us by some friends we had over for dinner last night...I normally do not have soft drinks in our house, mainly because I'll drink them all!)
