The Saturday before, we went to the Exxon Easter Egg Hunt with Honey before heading to Lafayette to spend the rest of the day with my family.
Susanna was my most cooperative subject, as you will be able to tell from these and the following pictures...Drew is just too busy for me I guess!
Pocking eggs with Champ & Mommy
Uncle Billy and Uncle Brian cooking ribs...yummmmmm
All the Fontenot grandkids
I was able to have great conversations with my Maw Maw Grace and Jessica's mom, it was priceless time for me!
Waiting to start hunting more eggs!! Susanna would drag her basket behind her like this, seriously on a mission. She knew what to do!
Blowing bubbles with M'Lonnie...this bubble container was supposedly spill-proof. I need to just contract Sue Sue out to companies testing out new products because she definitely found a way to spill this thing everywhere!
We left my brother's and went back to Honey and PawPaw's, spent the night with them and woke up Easter Sunday to a sick little boy with quite a fever, made it to church, and came back for lunch and a sweet Easter lesson from Honey. It was a great weekend!
Glow-in-the-dark egg hunt!!
Easter morning...checking out our loot from the EB himself!
The best family picture we could get...
I am so thankful for my Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ, that He chose to come to this Earth, knowingly and willingly, to atone for the sins of all of us. I am so grateful for His suffering in the garden of Gethsemane, for His death on the cross, and for His resurrection on the Third day. I love my Father in Heaven, for the lesson of sacrifice that comes from Him and His son so that my shortcomings can be overlooked, that my sins can be forgiven, and that I can, one day, live again as Jesus does. Although I am a week late, Happy Easter!!
