18 months...one month late!

Susanna is a year and a half!  Is it weird to say that it feels like she's been around forever and I'm surprised she is still so young?!  She has such an old soul, I think...we just adore our sweet love bug!

Stats:
80% in weight
75% in height
90% in head circumfrence

Mostly for me but also for anyone interested...

She is talking a lot more than Drew was at this age, as far as actual words go.  Here are a few of the things she says:  Mommy, Daddy, Sue-Sue, Sissy, Dew (Drew), A-bee (Avery), Paw Paw, Tamp (Champ-my dad), Nonnie (my mom), Amy, Gan (Logan- a little boy I watch), Tim (Austin), gay-go (Diego), Dada (Dora), Piper (Swiper- and she shakes her finger), No, Tub, Bird..followed by teet-teet, Mooooooo, Bite, Wite (write), pen, gogo (yogurt), nana (banana), keeks (cheeks), nose, eyes, ears, hair, shoot (shirt), shoes, cancakes (pancakes), egg (when referring to more than one, even), ba-ball (basketball), out (of the car, her high chair, the tub, the stroller, etc.), hey, kaka (kitty cat), baby, shin (lotion), nite-nite, bed, ket (blanket)...the list goes on.  Every day she says something new!
She eats and drinks EVERYTHING.  She sucks water out of the carpet or off of the floor is she spills, she has been caught drinking tub water and toilet water.  After we brush teeth ("teesh") she insists on drinking from the faucet.  She eats lotion and tries to eat soap when we are at the sink, she loves meat and carbs, cucumbers and celery are the only veggies she really likes.  She loves fruit but not mangos.  She likes to eat crayons or suck on markers but prefers to write with pens, then she ends up with ink on her face.  She digs in every cabinet and drawer.
She is a pretty smart cookie these days.  She figures things out quickly and is curious about everything.  She loves to snuggle and "ugg" (hug).  She gets mad quickly if she does not get her way but thats pretty typical, I guess.  She is FINALLY starting to listen when we tell/ask her not to do something.  She loves to be "sa-side" (outside).  She is getting very independent, although not when it comes to the nursery at church.  She cries if we even mention the word nursery or walk toward the door.  Her eyes are finally a distinguishable color...green!!!  For a while they were kind of gray.   I'm so excited about this! I love green-eyed people! Her hair is as curly as ever, which I hope never goes away.  I said that about her dark baby hair too but that did go away ;(
She is quite a sweet sparkle in our lives.  We love her so, so much!

Drew update:  Signed up for preschool starting in the fall!!!  He LOVES Mario brothers.  He told me today that we wanted to watch the news of the bomb (for future reference- Boston Marathon bombs) .  He is fully potty trained as of 4 months ago!  When he does #2, he closes the door behind him, telling me he needs his privacy...my mom taught him what this means, however, he never wants to give me any!!   His vocabulary is quite detailed...we have full on conversations and he figures things out very quickly.  He always asks me what things are and what they mean and then I notice he uses them in every day vocab. He started t-ball.  He is the smallest on his team (still 10% in weight, 25% in height) but he is coordinated so we'll see how it goes!  He's my buddy and I don't know what we'd do without him!
