Monday, the teachers started back for the fall. Mike's mom and dad had Drew for the day/night/next day so I was able to get a lot done. I really appreciate all they do for us, especially when it comes to babysitting (however, I don't think they mind it too much most of the time ;) Drew is pretty much obsessed with both of them! It is pretty great! I'm glad he has 2 sets of grandparents who are close enough for him to really have a relationship with. Anyway, I ran a bunch of errands and got my nails (hands and feet) done...in reality, I should have just gotten a full pedicure. I think I need one, my feet need some serious rubbing!
Tuesday was pretty busy at work, just getting last minute things ready. I came home, started dinner and cleaned up a little bit, then went to pick up Drewbie from them. We came home, ate dinner, Drew took a "bubba ba" with his new bath toys and then we hung out together until it was time for bed. He likes to throw the ball to me so I can hit it with the bat. It is our new game ;)
This morning I woke up at 5:20, got ready by 6:00, woke Drew up and snuggled on him for a while, packed my lunch and brought him to the sitter's by 6:55. I had been having a little anxiety about this day for a while now so I was extra lovey with him last night and this morning. He cried when I dropped him off but apparently that didn't last long! He goes to a member of our ward's home and she has a grandson his same age, his little friend Eli. Once I got to work, everything went really smoothly. So far, my kids are pretty good, however, I'm already exhausted and it is only Wednesday! I guess that's what I get for sitting around all summer putting on baby weight and not exercising! These next 9 weeks should be interesting.
Thankfully, Mike comes home tonight! He's been Tyler, TX since Sunday night on a work trip so hopefully, having him around will be a little bit of a relief. Not to mention, I'm just ready to see him :) Think I can get him to rub on my feet?!
That's my/our week so far! Hopefully the rest of it goes by fast, lookin' forward to the weekend!
