The weekend of March 5th, we blessed Will at church and celebrated Jillian Faye's 2nd birthday! Mike's parents came in (they are on a mission in Boston for our church) to meet the baby and spend a week with us and we wanted to PawPaw to participate. My mom and dad came as well as Alissa & Avery. It was a cool, sunny, windy day and it was so nice to be with family. Mike gave Will a beautiful blessing and my heart wanted to explode with love for my baby, my family, and the gospel.
After church, everyone came back to the house for Jillian's birthday party. The kids played outside for hours and the adults got to visit, relax, and eat ;)
Jillian loved her cake and got some really sweet gifts. She is such a precious girl!
Her real birthday was the next Sunday so she opened her gifts from Mike and I and the other kids. She seems so much more grown up already. She is talking so much more and forming little sentences, and having cute little conversations (although much of that time, only she understands what all she's saying, we can only make out certain words), she is becoming helpful, playing well with Drew and Susanna, and is the CUTEST when "holding" baby Will! It makes me a bit sad since she's been my little buddy for so long but I love seeing her grow healthy and strong!
