Helping me make pancakes...for the record, we make pancakes way too often and Susanna wears this nightgown 80% of the time...and I'm ok with both of those facts!
They played outside in the prettiness for a while and while they were occupied, I set up the table to paint fall trees. I had seen this idea on Pinterest so many times using canvasses but since I didn't have any, card stock worked just as well. The lighting was great in the kitchen, sun shining through the windows, we had the windows opened to feel the cool air and these kiddos went to town!
Then I had to snap this little gem of a picture of Mike reading to all 3 kids before scripture and prayer! Most evenings, Jillian is in bed before 8:00 but she had a later nap that day and was intently listening to Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. It is currently Drew and Susanna's favorite book and they sit pretty still during the whole thing! So thankful for that man...he comes home from a long day and jumps right in to help with baths, brushing teeth and the rest of our night routine. Love him!
