another baby girl

Our 20 week ultrasound was last Thursday and we got to see a sweet healthy baby GIRL on the screen!  She was curled up in a little ball so it took a while for the tech to get all the necessary pictures but one thing was for sure, and Mike saw it on the first glance of that little tush…another sister!  Honestly, I would have been elated no matter what gender this baby turned out to be but deep down I really hoped for a sister for Susanna.  While I absolutely love my brothers, I am glad that these girls will have a bond I've never experienced.  Mike is excited as well, I think particularly because he and Drew will be able to go have boy time when the girliness gets a little too much to handle, but his face was priceless when we got that first glimpse of her.
We are throwing names around, that seems to be the big question, but we probably won't reveal it, even if we know it, before she is born.  We've had too many instances where the opinions of others have affected our choices, most of you know how that goes.
I've promised myself I will not buy anything for this baby until after Christmas…and if I publicly commit to it, its more likely to keep me straight!

Pregnancy-wise, things are going well.  I swear I have grown twice as big in just one week!  She is kicking around a lot and Mike can already feel her sometimes.  My left leg hurts when I walk too much and I'm not sure if it is sciatica or just a nerve.  But honestly, I shouldn't complain.  It is hard to dwell on that stuff anyway when I'm just so overjoyed and excited by the idea of her.  What a blessing!
