A Southern Mama

I have been in love with Pinterest for a while now, but lets face it, who isn't?!  The creator of the site is the smartest person ever and I thank them!  I am pretty proud of the fact that I have tried many of the ideas/recipes/decor tips/cleaning advice/etc that I have pinned.  Obviously, I have not tried all of them but I do try to pin things I think I will use now or at some future date.  I am not one to post everything just for the sake of pinning it, at least, I'm trying to steer away from being that way...I'm starting to just "like" the things that are cool but that I'd probably never use/do or things that are more for me than for bombarding everyone else with when they log on.
Anyway, the point is, I would like to start sharing with you few who read my blog the things I have pinned and accomplished!  Not all today, there are many, but I'm hoping that by doing this I can share things I like or that work for me with you as well as rekindling my relationship with my blog that I have so sadly neglected over the past few months!

Here is the first one, for my kids...particularly for Drew since Susanna would probably eat this with minutes!

This is the best homemade playdough I have tried.  Actually, it was the first one I tried but I found while searching the web and not on pinterest.  Then I could never find it again, tried 2 others but kept wishing I could find this one again because the dough stayed smooth and soft for months after, while the others dried up way too fast!  It is super easy, cheap, and quick.  And it didn't smell, I don't like the smell of playdough in general but this recipe doesn't even have that salty smell.  I now have this recipe printed out and in my binder of internet recipes!  Good stuff right here!
