4 months

This little chunk will be 4 months at the end of the week. A little update on Susanna at 4 months old....she is sleeping all night, she has found her thumb (which I think is the main reason she now sleeps all night so I kind of love it), she is up to 6 ounces and eats every 3 hours (except at night, obviously), she has started laughing out loud which we think is the cutest thing ever, she loves Drew and coos and laughs at him regularly, she has the best thighs I've ever seen, and her cheeks are super kissable, her eyes are dark but still blue, she hasn't lost a bit of that hair, and she can hold her head up really well when on her tummy. She loves taking a bath and she kicks her little legs so that her body swishes back and forth...the water-level in her tub is about 1/2 full by the time we get her out. She smiles all the time and only gets mad if she has gas or is "starving". She weighs 14 lbs. 1.5 ounces so Drew only has her beat in the weight department by a whopping 10 lbs. Am I worried about this, yes, he's a little guy but he's healthy and active and eats like a moose when he actually wants to stop and think about food. Anyway, we love our little girlie girl, she's the best!

Speaking of Drew, lets give him a little shout out! He is HILARIOUS most of time! His vocabulary is growing every day and he says the funniest things. He loves waffles with syrup, mangoes, "macawonies", vegetables in general- corn is at the top of the list, ketchup, hot dogs, chocolate, crackers, the list goes on but those are his faves. The child is obsessed with basketball and even comments on actual NBA "big bassetball" games when he watches with Mike. He says things like "dood shot", "opps...amost", "aww, missed it", "yaaaayy...2 points", and "lam dunk"! It is something to see, for sure! He has a little basketball goal for the bathtub that suctions to the wall of the tub, which makes baths even more awesome around here. He is particular about which ball he lets us play with. He wants the orange actual basketball and we can usually have the black one, or the one that looks like a soccer ball, etc. He says "bess you" when he or anyone else sneezes, he says "thank you" like a champ, he loves to snuggle and pat Sue Sue's head, he tells us when he toots in his diaper, and he gets really concerned if he notices bobo's on anyone. He just received a hand-me-down train table and set from my cousin's kids who are now too old for such things (Mike and I used to babysit them when we were dating and remember playing with this same train set for hours...I can't believe they have outgrown it!!), but Drew will grab our hands and say "tum on mama, pay tootoo tains". He LOVES it so thanks, Maddie, Julien, Simon & Jack!! We love our Drewbie, he's the sweetest and I don't know what I'd do without that little stinker!

All in all, our kids are fabulous and we couldn't be luckier parents!

Sorry I'm a blog slacker these days, I'm a little busier with 2 kiddos haha...#3 will be a few years away, lets just be honest!

4 months already? What a darling darling! I totally don't blame you for not updating more often. I'm already feeling a bit overwhelmed, and I still have 3 months to go before baby girl #2 gets here! I'm already thinking that #3 will have to be several more years down the road. No question about that.

Drew's basketball comments crack me up! What a little joker!

I am loving her thighs too! She is adorable! Drew sounds like he is a hoot! They are both at fun ages. It sounds like life is going good for you.
