...not sure what's next

This weekend has been on the calendar for a while and now that it's almost over, honestly, there isn't much going on between now and when baby girl gets here. Labor Day, I suppose, but that's pretty much it until October!
We went to Lafayette yesterday to spend the night at my MawMaw's and got up really early this morning for Mike's triathlon. A bunch of our friends from our ward were doing it too, which made it extra fun! My parents came and met us and brought Drew so he could watch. When Mike was on the last leg of his run, he put Drew on his shoulders for the finish! It was cute and Drew LOVED it...I did not manage to get a picture of that though...bummer. Mike did really well on his times and was pretty happy with the outcome. I don't know how they all did it. It was so hot, and these days, I just can't take this Louisiana humid heat.

After it was over, we went to Billy and Jessica's new house and had lunch; BBQ-ed ribs, potato salad, veggies...it was awesome. The boys sang in the living room and swam in the backyard. We had a good visit with them and headed back home. It has been a loooong day but it was a good one. I'm kind of in a grumpy mood (I'm sure if you asked Mike, he'd say "kind of"??)...not such a good thing...
Anyway, I'm not sure what's next on the calendar but 8 weeks cannot get here fast enough! I'm ready for this exhaustion to end so I can see my little girlie!
