For FHE tonight, we had leftover BBQ ribs, veggies and potato salad and Drew helped me make a cake! It was last minute, folks, and I'm not the most creative! He loved "helping" me bake though, especially tasting it all. The homemade icing was the best part. He did manage to get cocoa powder all over the counter top. Let's just say he almost completely missed the mixing bowl! After dinner, he took a bubble bath, we read a scripture story as a family, then enjoyed our chocolate and yellow cake. Now we are watching Tangled. Drew is fascinated by this movie. He sits really still and says "whoa" or "no,no,no" or "ooooooh"! It's pretty cute ;)
I'm trying to get better about having Family Home Evening. We just need more quality family time in general. It has been a nice night! Maybe we can make it even better if we getting to bed early!

Sounds like fun! When I saw the first picture of you cooking and drew was sitting on the counter top I was thinking to myself are they crazy for letting him sit right there by a hot stove top!!

What a cutie! We are trying to get better about family night as well. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's worth it when you have such great family time.
