chili or veggie/beef soup
does anyone have a good chili or veggie/beef soup recipe? the weather is getting cooler and while it might still be a little too hot for it, soon, it won't be! I promise to post a recipe of something soon, I just don't feel like I have good ideas...I have a carrot cake recipe I really want to try and with apples in season, I want to try an apple pie. I just need to figure out how to make them healthy/reduce the amount of sugar!

Taco soup is always a nice cool weather change from the veggie soups... very inexpensive
black beans
kidney beans
diced tomatoes
corn or white hominy
ground meat (could go chicken, but g.m. works great for texture)
taco seasoning
it goes over rice or corn chips... and of course pour lots of cheddar cheese over it!!
