28!

Hy husband just celebrated his 28th birthday! Mike never really makes a big deal out of his birthday, and though I've tried over the last 6 years we've known each other, to change his mind about things, he likes to keep them simple. This year he actually said it was the best birthday he can remember...and we didn't do too much (which can sometimes be nice)! He was busy with school stuff and I was busy with work and Drew but we made it happen anyway. I made him a cake the Sunday before and we celebrated after church at the Richardson's. Then we spent some time with Jessica, Matt, Brandon, Amilyn and the kids. Then on the day of, he opened his present from Drew and I- new athletic socks (his real present was bought a few months ago...a new tri bike!). He opened some cards and that was about it!
I am so glad he is in my life. I cannot believe when I met him he was 22! It has flown by but I have loved him from the beginning, and I always will! Happy Birthday, babe!!
