His ear infection has gotten worse! I think we caught right at the start because Monday night, after his appointment, he started feeling worse and woke up a lot. Tuesday morning, Mike's mom came to get him since she keeps him while Mike is in class, and he got progressively more miserable throughout the day. He spent the night with them since Mike had to translate in New Orleans this morning and she said today he was still acting just as bad, if not worse. So tonight we are trying an expectorant along with his antibiotic and we are staggering doses of infant Tylenol and ibuprofen. I felt like a horrible mother drugging up my kid tonight but I think it might allow him a decent night's rest. Mrs. Donna said he woke up every hour last night! I feel so bad for him, he is beyond tired but has so much pressure behind his ears that he can't sleep. Say a prayer for him tonight please...Mike is going to give him a blessing when he gets home which can only be a good thing!
I hope this isn't a sign of many more ear infections to come which would = tubes...

Poor Drew :( I hate to hear when kids get ear infections. Hope he had a good night and feels better in the morning. He's to happy of a baby to feel so miserable!
Aaron had ear infection after ear infection. he had so much fluid in his ears the doctor said his hearing was mostly likely muffled. So we got tubes. It was the best thing ever and we haven't had an ear infection since. I wish i would have had them put in earlier. i feel your pain,i hate sick babies.
