39 week update...

I went to the doctor for the last time today!!! I am still dilated to 2 but having contractions. I slept horribly last night b/c my tummy kept getting tight and I kept moving around trying to get comfortable. This tightening has been happening a lot lately but I have just been thinking that it was the baby moving around. When I laid down on the table for him to check the heartbeat today, my stomach tightened and he said that it was a contraction. I have had many today but they aren't very painful (uncomfortable, yes) and they aren't consistent. My doctor said that for never having gone through this before, my body is handling everything really well and things seem to be progressing nicely. I really have been very blessed...we'll see how the actual labor goes! The plan is that if I don't have the baby by Monday, I will go in that night at 12:30 am to be induced. Either way, I know that by this time next week, we will have our little man! Its hard to believe that he almost here but we are so excited!
