McCartney Vacation 2014 ~part 2

Saturday, August 2nd, our sweet niece Emily was baptized by her dad, Mike's brother Andy.  It was really such a special day and we are so happy that the whole family was there to witness it!  We love this girl and her mom & dad!

Afterward, we all went back to the house and had lunch outside under the trees.  I keep telling Mike that if we lived in Utah, I would be an outdoorsy chick!  I LOVED the weather.  It was so nice to see Alicia's mom and to visit with everyone while the kids ran around.  

Jillian got so much attention on this trip!  You can tell she is the baby!  

 After naps, we went to the Children's Museum of Natural Curiosity.  This place was absolutely amazing, so impressive, I wish there were things like this around here.  It made me with I was a kid!

 Before we went home, we stopped for ice cream.  These two little girlies love ice cream, and each other!

 Sunday morning, our 5 went to church with Andy, Alicia & Emily and afterward decided to stop by the Mount Timpanogos Temple.  It was beautiful, of course, and we just walked around the grounds, taking in the view.  I love visiting temples and I am going to try with all my might to instill that love in my children as well.  If you follow me on instagram, you probably saw many temple pictures. That night we watched a beautiful storm roll in.  The colors seemed even more intense with the looming clouds in the back ground.  Gorgeous place...

 Mike's cousin Jeff and his family came to play.  We had planned on meeting at a nearby park with the weather like it was, we just stayed inside.  Suni was so sweet with Jillian!  Sweet cousins!

 She also had fun making Mike into Mr. Potato Head...haha he looks awesome, right?!

And that sums up the first weekend of our trip!
