The next day we went to my grandmother's for Christmas on my dad's side of the family. Somehow I managed to get no pictures of my own. What was I thinking?! We spent that night at her house and left for Dallas the next day to visit some of Mike's family. The kids were so good on the trip up there and back, it was so nice! We visited the George W. Bush Presidential Library one day while we were there and its was really cool! There was a whole section dedicated to 9/11 with an actual piece of the ruins. Drew was pretty fascinated with the videos and wanted to touch it. I still can't explain the feeling of being there, even though it wasn't the actual site (I've been there too), it was almost spiritual...I can't explain it!
There was also a whole White House Christmas exhibit that was so amazing.

We celebrated our 7th Anniversary! Those years flown by! I'm a lucky girl, for sure!
On NYE we stayed up late and played games, drank Martinelli's and ate a lot of junk. I only lasted til 1:30 but Mike stayed up til 3:30! Then we got up the next day and drove home...our Christmas stuff is put away and we are ready for 2014! Bring it on! I'm ready for this new baby!

OKay I'm SUPER jealous you went to the Bush Library because I TOTALLY want to go and DIDN'T while we were in Dallas. And that little Susanna of your's...she's freaking adorable!
We didn't last a long as y'all on NYE. Definitely understand what you posted about 9/11 ruins. Miss y'all!!
