Celebrating the Season

Who are we fooling?  We have been celebrating all month long, much like the rest of you!  Christmas FINALLY came, the real thing, and we spent hours getting ready for it all.  But this is actually more of a recap of December.
Drew's preschool Christmas party was held a few weeks ago and we got to see Santa!  It was a fun time!
Susanna is in the green shirt...she was trying to get closer to get a better look.  She was fascinated with Santa this year!
My cool dude getting his gift!
Mixed in with this crazy month, we had a garage sale, and a sick little monkey girl...but she still wanted to help!
I bought, wrapped and made countless gifts!
Buddy (who Drew renamed Zart) showed up in the silliest places all month long, if he remembered to move (lets just be honest!)
Last Saturday we had our Christmas celebration with my mom's side of the family and it was yummy and fun!  I have the greatest family!
 This girl loves her mama!
The best family picture we've gotten so far!

Susanna fell asleep with her cookie in hand AND slept for like 3 hours!
These kids know how to put away some gumbo and my cousin's husband sure knows how to cook it, I had 3 bowls!
Monday we took the kids to see Frozen with Honey, PaPa, Avery, Uncle KK, and Aunt Lissa.  Before we left, Susanna had to curl her eyelashes, of course!
Cute movie and cute kiddos!

We had Christmas Eve at home with our missionaries.  They helped put together Drew's race track and shared a beautiful message with us after dinner.  It was just what I wanted that night to be, focused on Christ and having the missionaries in our home always brings the Spirit.

Christmas morning was pretty fun!  We opened presents from Santa and had breakfast.  Then we headed to Mike's parents' for the day.  I took more videos of that morning than pictures so that might have to come later!
(thanks, pinterest, for this idea!)

Santa brought Susanna a bike and that girl was all about it!  We had a great day!  More Christmas celebrating is headed our way tomorrow and over the weekend!  It isn't over til its over and I think we are ok with that!
