Drew's 1st Field Trip!

Drew started preschool in August and, while some days he'd rather stay home, I think he has been enjoying it!  He has met some new friends, which makes me happy, and he really likes his teachers, especially Mrs. Cindy, I think!
Here he is on his very first day!  I thought I held it together pretty well, only a few tears when I dropped him off, and only because he looked so dang grown up.  Where did my tiny baby boy go?!
Last Thursday, we went on his very first field trip.  He had been talking about it for days.  They must have been prepping them at school for it.  We went to the Global Wild Life refuge and he knew not to feed the zebras!  It was a warm but not very humid day and was really nice.  Mike's parents came with us.  It was really fun!
He was so excited when we got there!  He was saying hi to all of his friends.  This is his little friend Maylee.  They are pretty good pals ;)

I had to get a picture with this handsome boy of mine!

Susanna loved the zebras, llamas and giraffes.

It was so cool, they ate right out of our cups and the llamas ate out of our hands!  Such pretty animals!

We'll just call this one Tina!

As a mother, it is so good to see my sweet boy growing and learning new things.  I love that he is learning to socialize.  His teacher told me that he is very polite and Mike and I were thinking "hallelujah!"  He is such a blessing to me and teaches me how to be more patient and understanding.  I can't wait for more fun times and adventures with Drew!
