Well...that didn't last long, did it?! I DID limit myself to how often I checked out my friends' blogs over the passed few days and I will continue to do so. We've been busy so it hasn't been that hard. This week was crazy. Mike was out of town for work for 4 days and when he got back Thursday night we had to put the finishing touches on our lesson for the class we taught at Youth Conference yesterday. It was really fun but I'm glad its over. It was hard keeping up with a toddler and making bookmarks & decorations all while hubby was away. I'm so glad I'm not a single parent and I have so much respect for those who are. We stayed a little while after the classes were over to have dinner at the stake center and check out the dance. Drew had the most fun. He has some serious dance moves, I'm not sure where he gets them, but he had a lot of us laughing and laughing. He's quite the ham (and I think we all DO know where he gets that :)
I had a little scare this week thanks to low blood sugar and a sinus infection. Wednesday night I was having trouble seeing out of my left eye, blamed it on fatigue and went to bed. Thursday morning when I woke up and started making breakfast, I got really freaked out because my upper-peripheral vision in my left eye was almost gone and I couldn't exactly see the things I was look at. Thankfully, Amy kept Drew so I could go to the doctor. We were afraid it was a problem with blood pressure but when they checked me all out, my blood pressure was fine and so was my blood sugar. My doctor put me on antibiotics for a sinus infection even though I don't feel like I have one and told me that I need to, once again, cut back on carbs. 12 more weeks, people, hopefully I can stick it out!
Today we went to the baptism and birthday party of our dear friends' little girl, Dilen. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun! Not much going on in the week to come but I'm welcoming that because this week was exhausting. Monday, Jessica and I are making burp cloths for our babies, which are due only 3 weeks apart, Wednesday I have a meeting with the other civics teachers (gearing up for a new school year), and Friday I have my 28 week appointment, then Drew & I have a movie date with Jane & Halle. It should be fun!
