Like I said, yesterday we went to my aunt's house for the 4th. We ate lots of yummy food, swam in the pool, visited with family, and some of us danced :) Drew was full of energy when he woke up from his 3 hour nap and entertained everyone with his Cajun dancing. He loves to dance and he loves Cajun music. It makes me proud because I cherish my Cajun background. I love that he has our big brown eyes (my pawpaw's, my dad's, and mine) and a love of music and dancing. My pawpaw would have eaten him up yesterday if he were still around. We giggled and giggled watching that kid! He isn't shy at all, much like Mike :), and he did not mind all the attention one bit.
We came home last night tired but full and happy. I am so thankful for this country that we live in and for the fact that we are a free people. I pray that our leaders strive to uphold what was fought for those many years ago when America became a free land and I hope that my children are able to enjoy it as we do today. Happy 4th of July!
It is kind of long and probably only really entertaining to family but feel free to check our little jitter bug! (and please excuse my coughing and annoying laugh)

This is so great, Adrienne! Please give Drew a big smooch from his happy-to-be-a-Cajun great-aunt! I can't wait to dance with him myself. I'm praying for you tonight, that God will give you comfortable sleep!!!
That was adorable! Ginny and I LOL when your mom and him did the "knees". It was awesome. Thanks for sharing and making us look forward to what we have in store.
