A Southern Mama

It would appear that I have a toddler...I'm really starting to see it unfold in front of me. He still seems like my little baby but the realization of having an almost-2-year-old was never as evident as it has been this week. We've had our first bloody nose, a horrendous hair cutting experience (I almost could not hold him still while Alissa cut it so we eventually had to get out the clippers), he peed on Aunt Lissa's TV stand, we had our first call to Poison Control, I just cleaned roast, rice and gravy up from all over my kitchen floor and had to put ice on a bloody bitten tongue because he runs so fast, he trips over his own feet & everything except the bloody nose happened today! It's been a rough one...

(This bloody nose wasn't anywhere near as bad as it looks in this picture, he didn't even cry, it could have been b/c he was picking his nose and then when it started to bleed, he smeared it everywhere...if he would have been crying, I would have totally freaked)
On a positive note, his hair is precious and he has been giving me lots of kisses :)
