Exxon Easter Egg Hunt 2011
We were laughing because next year Drew and Avery will running around finding eggs while baby girl chills in the baby carrier :) Exciting!!
Then we headed to Jennings for our ultrasound! I was shocked that this baby is not a boy. My dad was really excited! It is just starting to hit me, my mind was already prepared for a boy so I have had to consciously change my way of thinking ;) We are soooo happy!!
After that, we went to my uncle's for my mom's family's get-together. My cousin Anna was in from Italy with her fiance and his family! It was sort of an Easter/wedding celebration and we were so glad to see everyone and to celebrate their new beginning!
We drove home Saturday night and Sunday morning we went to church. Afterward, we went to Mike's parents for Easter. Drew got some fun treats from the Easter Bunny and we pocked eggs!
It was a wonderful weekend full of fun and family! We missed all those we didn't get to see! I am so thankful for my family and for my sweet baby and husband. I'm thankful to Heavenly Father for giving them to me and trusting me with their care. I am grateful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for His atoning sacrifice for my many sins. This time of year reminds me of all that I have been given and I am humbled by the many blessing I have received despite the fact that I don't deserve half of them! Christ is Risen! Happy Easter!

Hi there, Adi!! We are so excited with your new baby girl news! Please pat your belly for me, and tell her that I love her! And you, my girl, feel my hhuuggss! I'm glad to catch up on your blog after a long while! I too am feeling so blessed this Easter season for all Christ did for me, and how much God loves us to have sent Him! We went to a black gospel church for Easter services.... a 'wish' of Giovanni's mother for her first and probably only visit to the US. It was a rockin, roof-raising good time.... very high-energy, but also very God-honoring and a unique experience for us all! I love that we have brothers and sisters from all nations and tribes! Love to Mike and Drew.... and keep some for your sweet self!
