...so to celebrate, Mike's mom kept Drew overnight and Mike and I got to go on the first real date we have had in a while!We ate at Ninfa's, a yummy Mexican restaurant in B.R., and it was awesome, as usual. Then we roamed around the mall a little and used up some gift cards we had gotten for Christmas, always fun.
We went to Perkin's Rowe to see the 3rd Chronicles of Narnia movie (we love these movies and it did NOT disappoint!)
After that, we wanted dessert so we went for gelato! There is a fabulous gelato place that is thankfully open late called Latte e Miele off of Highland Rd. It is sinful, it's so good! I got double chocolate and peppermint and Mike got chocolate chip AND hot chocolate. Their hot chocolate is like European chocolate, really thick and rich. It is amazing. (and yes, I realize I'm not supposed to have that much sugar) (and if you have facebook, I think there is a pic of us on their site)
Finally, we came home and actually went to bed earlier than normal which was nice. We had a really great time and it is hard to believe it has already been 4 years. That means we have known each other for almost 7! Crazy!
I am so grateful for a wonderful, dedicated husband who loves me, a sweet baby boy, and a wonderful family (and friends) who has supported and loved us throughout our journey together. I'm grateful for the gospel and for the knowledge that we can be together forever as long as we strive to do what is good and righteous. I have a fabulous life! Thanks, babe!
