back to work

This summer went by so fast. School started last week so that means back to work. It has been tough leaving Drew Babe everyday, we had fun this summer, I loved being home to see all the new things he was learning and just spending every waking moment with him was so sweet! I have noticed that he is really attached to Mike since I haven't been around for the last week or so. Makes me a little sad but it is precious to see how much he loves his daddy. So far, I am enjoying the school year. I really have a great group of kids and I'm hoping they just don't seem great b/c it is the beginning and they are a little intimidated, I'm hoping they stay this good!
Drew is getting so big! He pulls up on everything, which he learned to do about a month ago (see last video) but he can walk around if he is holding on to something and sometimes lets go for a few seconds. He is constantly getting into places he never even noticed before which makes me realize that I will have to start seriously baby-proofing EVERYTHING. He is getting his two top teeth in. They have broken through the gums and when he smiles, you can see them! He looks so cute! Teeth seem to change the whole look of a baby! He has been giving me lots of kisses lately though, I think it feels good for him to rub his gums on something so sometimes it is my mouth, sometimes my leg or shoulder...he even bit Mike on the leg the other day! It hurt and left a mark but when Mike screamed, Drew just looked up at him and smiled! He is such a funny boy!
Mike starts his last semester of undergrad next week! Yay! He is ready for this ride to be over :) Other than that, everything is normal! Hopefully I will have some 9 month pictures of Drew for yall soon...can you believe he is almost 9 months?! Yikes!
