Today we got up bright and early, brought Mike to Markus' so they could go to class, and headed over to Amy's to do some food storage canning! We canned rice, milk, cereal, wheat, flour, potatoes, pasta, oatmeal, I know I'm leaving something out. It was great! We canned at least 160 no. 10 cans. It was a lot of fun and it felt productive.
Then we went to Wal-Mart, I vacuumed and mopped the floor on my hands & knees since my son is all over the place these days, washed a few loads of clothes, and made dinner.
Now we are sitting around, trying to relax. Mike has bronchitis and a sinus infections that we just found out about yesterday. Drew is playing on the floor, the boy is getting so big! He says "mama", "dadadadadada", along with lots of other sounds that are his little attempt at talking to us :) and he just pulled himself up on his knees using first level of the coffee table, then reached up and pulled himself up into a standing position using the second level of the coffee table. We just about freaked...I'm really not ready for him to be doing that! I guess I better get ready though...time to seriously baby proof!
