celebrating my b-day!

My birthday was last week but we didn't have much planned for the actual day of. Mike was in the middle of finals and I was busy with work and Awards Night so we decided to put the celebration off a week. Today, when I got home from work, Mike offered to take me to see Letters to Juliet. I was planning on going with some girlfriends but since he offered, how could I say no!? Do you know how hard it is to get him to see a chick flick?! We couldn't find a sitter so we took Drew with us! I was really nervous that he would be distracting or start crying or something but he did amazingly well! He stared at the screen for 30 minutes, played with a few toys and, of course, flirted with a lady and her daughter behind us who just ate him up! He did great! The movie was super cute too! I love love stories and this was a really great one!
After the movie, we shopped around Perkin's Rowe, I got a cute little necklace and then we went to Old Navy to exchange some things. When we got home, Mike made supper for me and cleaned all of the dishes and picked up around the house. I love that man!
My stupid sinuses are acting up so I have a pretty awful headache so he is playing with little man on the floor so I can watch American Idol (Lee is totally going to win!).
It was a really nice day! Thanks, babe, for my awesome "birthday"!!!

Happy Birthday!!! You have a wonderful husband. Isn't it so fun when they take us to chick flicks?? It is even better when they make dinner and clean up for us. It sounds like you had a great time. Happy birthday again! =c)

Happy Birthday! Sorry we missed it. You're lucky, I have to watch chick flicks "on my own time" as Jeff says.
