12 weeks

This is my last weekend "staying home" with my little buddy...I am going back to work on Monday and while I am prepared as far as lesson plans and things, I do not know that I am mentally ready for this. Leaving him will be tough but we are blessed because Mike only has classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays so my mother-in-law will be keeping him on Tuesdays and one of our friends will be keeping him on Thursdays and on the days Mike has to translate. If you think about me this week, please say a quick prayer! Not sure how tough it will be to adjust to this new change!
On a more positive note, Drew is getting so big! He is insanely fun these days...he laughs all the time and sometimes he laughs so hard he can't catch his breath! It is hilarious! I am trying to soak it all in because these sweet moments won't last forever! His favorite position when he is awake is laying on his back so he can kick is legs all over the place or standing up in our laps. The kid's legs are solid (thanks to the Vanchiere trait). He is getting longer, too (crossing my fingers that he will have my dad's height!). He sleeps best on his tummy, he loves to snuggle (!!!), he laughs when you kiss his chubby cheeks and he only wakes up one time during the night to eat! His eating habits are a bit random though...sometimes he wants 5 ounces and sometimes he only wants 2, and we have been "wasting" more milk than mommy would like, our latest challenge. He is so amazing in every way though and I cannot imagine life without him! He LOVES his daddy and will laugh at everything Mike does! It is really cute! He is the apple of our eyes and each day I'm sure I will come home from work craving his sweet little self, which will make time with him even more precious to me!
