Normally I would never post pictures of myself like this but I know I will want to remember what I look like, I know my mom would want to see this, and I want to compare what I look like now to what I will look like in 4 more weeks. Here is the first (and probably only one you'll ever see) bare belly pic!
It's getting down to the wire and I while I am really excited, I'm also getting a little freaked. I don't feel like we have everything ready, and I know I will probably NEVER feel like we have everything ready but it is still stressful to think about all we still have left to do.
If anyone has any suggestions about what to pack in our hospital bags (for mom, dad, & baby boy!), please let me know! I started getting things that I already have around the house together tonight and I'm making a list of what I still need to go get. I'm becoming more and more nervous and having a little hospital anxiety (I have NEVER been hospitalized ever...ahhhhh) and I don't want to forget anything! What should I do about toiletries and things I'll need to use between now and then? I definitely don't want to over pack...how many changes of clothes should I pack for Mike and I? I'm pretty sure they keep the baby in onzies while we are there but should I pack more than one outfit for him? I have already been told to bring chap stick, crossword puzzle-type games, socks, and ponytail holders. Anything else?!

Definitely socks. I'm not a sock wearing person and almost didn't bring any, but at the last minute I decided to listen to all the books and I'm so glad I did! Also, the little baby will need clothes. All they give him is a paper outfit so you will probably want to bring your own onesies for him. I brought several onesies for Drew, a couple of little outfits, and a sleeper. I don't remember how much of it I used, but I did change him several times. I did pack blankets and burp rags, but I didn't use either of those things in the hospital. Also, for you you probably don't really need real clothes. All you'll probably want to wear is pjs or comfy pants. I brought maternity jeans with me, but they never left the bag! I lived in pajama type pants for the first week! Another tip is to take everything that they give you in the hospital home with you (nipple cream, disposable panties, pads, & the stuff for the baby). Also, you may want to make sure you have some vasoline and little gauze squares at home since you are having a boy you will need it for his circumcision. That's all I can think of right now! I'm so excited for y'all! They really are wonderful!
You look great Adi!!! I can't wait to see him and hold him! I know with my sisters a good thing to have for the baby is those things to put on their hands so they want scratch their face. They came in real handy.
Adi,
Hopefully Mike is ok with me saying this, but you look beautiful. There are two things that make a woman look more beautiful. 1. a white dress 2. a pregnant belly. Thank you for being so brave and sharing your life. I mss seeing you guys so much! I don't have to be in the first round of people, but I would like to hear about the birth so I can come hold lil Dale.
And as far as suggestions for the hospital, you'll only be there a day or two. I wouldn't worry so much. They'll probably have all the necessities, just think about anything that you cannot live without while you're in there.
Love you guys!

Awww you are one of the most beautiful pregnant women ever! I need one of those bellies, LOL! Sounds like you've got everything packed. No matter how hard you try, you will forget something. Don't worry it will be here before you know it and then you will be home. Won't be long girl!
Adi, I stressed about this too but you really dont need much in the Hosp. Only take a night gown for you , something comfy to come home in (sweats),extra G's (but I think I only wore my top cuz of bleeding), one outfit for the baby to come home (he will be in a onesie and wrapped in a blanket). As far as toiletries : bring stuff like you are going over night somewhere. Makeup, lotion etc. Bring a a hand mirror incase you cant get out of bed to put your makeup on.
Don't forget SNACKS for Mikey while he sits around with you ! I went to the dollar store and got all of andys favs. and put them in my hosp. bag ! Mints--- after birth you will be super thirsty and the mints helped with dry mouth . Dont take books etc. You will be SO tired....take advantage of sleep while your there ! I love you I hope this helps!
Adi you look great!! You will definitely treasure that picture, even if it's a little embarrassing now :). I have no idea about what to pack in the hospital bag... but one of my girlfriends had to send her husband home to get Disney Seen It! I guess she was really bored of just sitting in bed, lol. Good luck with everything!
