Food & Sleep!

I have actually been having serious aversions to tons of foods. I haven't gained much weight b/c I'm so frickin' picky. I've been trying just to eat anyway but lately Cool Ranch Doritos, fruit (mangoes, grapefruit, strawberries) and spinach dip have never tasted so good!
While things are getting better in that department, I haven't been sleeping very well at night. I'm usually really cold and keep the temp. around 70 at night but now I have to bump it down to 68 & I'm still hot! I wake up at least 2-3 times a night to go to the bathroom and the last 2 nights I have had to get up and get water b/c my throat is dry! When I nap during the day, I feel even more tired when I wake up than I did before I laid down! I thought it was too early for all this!

Isn't pregnancy wonderful?! Just kidding. It has it's ups and downs. I have insomnia when I'm pregnant and sometimes I would have to take showers in the middle of the night because I'd wake up soaking in sweat even though I'd only slept with a sheet covering me. Enjoy your second trimester. It's the best! Then you'll be huge and miserable in the end. Isn't that so encouraging?

The second trimester gets MUCH better. I promise. I was miserable too in the first couple of months and then the second trimester was SOOOO much easier to handle. You'll get your energy back (at least some of it) and you won't have to nap as much & you won't have to pee QUITE as much until you get closer to the end. So you can look forward to that!

Awww...I know how you feel. I HATE being pregnant. I was really sick with Kaia and very tired. I had a constant headache with the boys and I just got HUGE with them. It is all worth it in the end but, it feels like forever before you baby is finally here. Hang in there and just take it easy.

Uh....Do you think those Cool Ranch Doritos might have something to do with why you're thirsty at night????? :-D Just kidding, Adi! This "mystery boy/girl" thing has got to be nerve wracking! Can't wait to know! Hugs, WG
