almost a valentine's day post...almost!

Today is Valentine's day and since it isn't turning out quite how I planned, here is something to tide you over (because I know you are just dying to hear about our day, right ;) until I post about it.  I made these today to have after dinner, which did kind of happen, actually...and they are AMAZING!

I mean, look at them, how could they not be?  I used brownie mix instead of making them from scratch, much easier.  I bought the caramel sauce on amazon...it was worth it because Trader Joe's is soooo incredible good.  And of course our little grocery start a block from out house did not have the chocolate cream cheese for the icing, melted dove milk chocolate double-boiler style, mixed it with cream cheese and powdered sugar.  I did not use all 5 cups of powdered sugar and I did not use half and half or milk.  It turned out just fine.  These are really not that hard to make and they taste sooooo
good!
