pumpkins!!

Last weekend we had a family reunion in north Louisiana and since it was Fall Break the following Monday & Tuesday, we decided to make a long weekend out of it and head from there to Dallas to visit some of Mike's family.  We had a lot of fun catching up with Aunt Susie and Uncle Robert, seeing Mike's paw-paw and Uncle Doug, and two of his younger cousins.  Drew was in heaven with those 2!

We stayed up late watching movies with the kids ;)

Made a quick trip to IKEA!  (YAY!)

Had lunch with Papa Bill and Uncle Doug

And on our last day, we hit up the coolest pumpkin patch at the Dallas Arboretum!

There are so serious pumpkins at this place!  75,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash!  It was gorgeous!

We also explored the children's gardens which are so neat and really fun.  We loved it!

And Drew was attached to Griff's hip (and back) for the majority of the day ;)  Later that night, we celebrated Mike's 33rd birthday!  It was such a great long-weekend!  Thanks, Aunt Boo, for the fun times!!
