I'm amazed at how quickly this pregnancy has been for me. I have roughly 16 weeks left and 7 of those weeks I'll spend at home for the remainder summer. That means, once the school year starts up again, I'll only have about 8 weeks until I'm due so in my mind, the beginning of school is kind of exciting this year :)
I'm feeling pretty energetic. I've been having some heartburn still so my dr told me to take Zantac everyday and I'm definitely experiencing significantly worse round-ligament pain this time. Yesterday, I was hurting so badly, I was afraid to move. My sister-in-law, Ashley, told me that with her 2nd, she thought she was having appendicitis and while mine isn't that bad, yesterday, I could imagine what she meant!!! Mike helped out the other night by suggesting I put a few pillows under my lower back to stretch out a bit and it really worked so that's been my best "cure" for it so far. I no longer crave cheese fries! Hallelujah! But I'm pretty sure I've gained more weight in these 6 months than I did in my first 6 months of pregnancy with Drew. That's ok though, I needed it last time. My sugars look good, I don't check them as often as I should, but I go back next week for a blood test (thankfully, not the dreaded glucose test, YET...I'm a little scared about that one). This little chica is quite a kicker, too...I feel her move all the time!
Tomorrow we are going to a church picnic so I'll get Mike to take a baby bump picture. It's been waaay too long since my last one. I feel like I've grown a lot since Gulf Shores.
Anyway, just a little update, mainly for me but in case ALL (there are tons, right?) my readers out there were wondering ;)

I do have to say that I had some round ligament pain with Drew, but only for like 24 hours. It was excruciating to the point that I made Nathan take me to the assessment center because I was sure I was having an appendicitis! I was hoping that's what it was because then I wouldn't feel like a big baby! lol! It turned out to be normal pains, but the dr did give me a shot and it was the most wonderful thing ever and thankfully once I woke up from my shot the pain was gone and I never experienced that again! So good luck!
